Function: pressure sustaining or back pressure valve (BPV)

Operation: Direct acting

Port: 1/2, 3/4, 1, 11/2 or 2 BSPT, option NPT or BSPP (G) thread.

Body: 316 stainless steel, option Duplex 316 stainless steel

Internals: stainless steel

Seals: NBR +60°C option Viton +100°C and EPDM

Media: air, water, pure water, light oil and other fluids under 40 CST and gases compatible with materials of construction.

Max inlet pressure: 5 Bar

Test pressure: 16 Bar

Back Pressure adjustment: 0.2 to 1.5 Bar, displayed by pressure gauge (Included)

Temperature Range: -15°C to +100°C (According to seal)

Pressure sustaining valves are designed to maintain a pre-set back pressure, if the back pressure drops to set value the valve will begin to close to maintain pressure, when pressure returns the valve will begin to open again.

Pressure gauge indicates the sustained back pressure (Upstream pressure).
